World-renowned aesthetic surgeons to come to Coventry for the latest Modern Concepts meeting

The Department of Plastic Surgery at the University Hospital in Coventry recently opened registration for its next Modern Concepts meeting to take place this July. Focusing on the latest trends and techniques in breast reconstruction and aesthetic breast surgery, the meeting brings together leading aesthetic surgeons to present a range of topics.

Modern Concepts, chaired by Warwickshire plastic surgeon Mr Alan Park, has now held three meetings in recent years, each time focusing on a particular field of aesthetic and reconstructive surgical expertise.

This year there will also be an exclusive opportunity, of particular interest to the next generation of surgeons currently in training, to observe ‘master’ plastic surgeons perform breast reconstruction and aesthetic techniques on fresh, frozen cadavers.

Lectures and presentations will take place at the Clinical Sciences Building at the (CSB) at the University Hospital, Coventry. The meeting is endorsed by the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and equals 20 Continuing Medical Education credits.
