Cycling for charity

This July, Warwickshire plastic surgeon Mr Alan Park will be joining over a hundred other cyclists for the London to Paris bike ride to raise money for his nominated charity, the Mary Ann Evans Hospice in Nuneaton.

The hospice care for those suffering from cancer and other life-limiting illness and support for their families and carers; it is available to those in the Nuneaton, Bedworth and North Warwickshire area. Hospice care is open to all and provided free of charge, but approximately two-thirds of the running costs for hospices in the UK have to be raised from voluntary donations, which makes hospice care such an important charity to support.

This challenging bike ride will cover nearly 500km over a period of five days, before finishing directly under the Eiffel Tower. Click here to donate to Mr Park’s fundraising page in aid of the Mary Ann Evans Hospice.
